Hole 1 – Ironmonger’s Knob
A short par 5, to start with and a real birdie chance, but the bunker down the left and two down the right side of the fairway require an accurate drive of 220 – 250m to slot through the small gap between them. The green slopes from front to back requiring a high shot in to hold the green. The green has two deep bunkers at the front and deep hollows around the green.
