Team Stableford Saturday January 11 2025
Teams will need to be made up of three or four players to participate in this event.
Cost per player is $5, so $15 for a three-person team & $20 for a four-person team, in addition to the normal comp fee of $17 p.p.
Teams who have paid to participate will be provided with a numbered yellow ball, so best if one person pays the full entry fee & collects $5 off each playing partner.
Each team member must take a turn in using the yellow ball for a full hole. So, for a three-person team that means player A uses it on the 1st hole, player B on the next hole, player C on the next hole & then back to player A, keeping that rotation for the 18 holes. Same for a four-person team, except that it will be player A, then player B, then player C, then player D, with that rotation continuing throughout the 18 holes. Choose your team setup wisely.
The event will be based on the aggregate of points scored on each hole by the player using the yellow ball, so each participating group will need to take a scorecard, on which one member of your group must record each players’ name and hcp and the yellow ball stableford points achieved on each hole.
If at any stage, the YELLOW BALL IS LOST, that team is then out of the team aggregate event, but will continue to be eligible for the singles & 2BBB comps.
So, score your individual round on the app. as you would normally but keep one scorecard separately to record your yellow ball points.
Teams that complete the 18 holes with the yellow ball must return it and the scorecard to the Pro Shop, so that the Team Aggregate winners & runners up can be correctly calculated.
Groups may take out insurance by purchasing a spare yellow ball before they tee off for $15 or $20 for 3 player or 4 player groups respectively.
Tee markers of the day and 101 & 111 tees are in operation for all players.
Check the Local Rules Board for all other conditions of play.
